It made me just want to reach inside the book and slap some senses into both the characters. The main problem I had with the book was the huge misunderstandings and reactions from the characters. Even though the author did try, the development and the structure needed a bit more foothold.

Unlike the first book of the series, this book’s plot and storyline was a bit weak for me.

Now a chance encounter has brought Bronwyn back into Bryce’s life, both bearing scars and neither knowing the whole truth of that fateful night that drove them apart.Ī Husband’s Regret is the second book in the Unwanted series by Natasha Anders. For Bryce, it meant a tortuous two years spent blaming his wife for deserting him and living with the pain of not knowing his child. For Bronwyn, it meant fleeing the perfect marriage to start over with nothing but a precocious daughter named Kayla to care for. But Bryce’s rage over his impending fatherhood touched off a chain reaction of emotional and physical traumas that wounded them both. Two years ago, Bryce Palmer learned Bronwyn was pregnant with their first child. Lack of communication will lead and open all other forms of distrust and misunderstandings in a relationship. The most important part of any relationship is communication. “After my accident, Bron, I swear I saw you in the crowd and, even though I knew that I was the one who had driven you out….” “The night you left,” he began quietly, trying to keep his voice level and calm, not wanting to come across as accusatory or angry. There was nothing there-no anger, no regret, just a blank mask. Bronwyn tried not to flinch when she saw his face. “Get the hell out,” he said before turning to face her.
